Welcome to the Mid-Texas Counseling Association

Mid-Texas Counseling Association MTCA counselors practice in a variety of institutional settings such as schools, state and local agencies, colleges, and universities. Our membership also includes private practitioners, social workers, college students, and retired mental health providers.

The Mid-Texas Counseling Association welcomes all.  Join us and become part of a group of professionals that love what they do...help others.

When you become a member, you will have the opportunity...

...to meet other school counselors, private practitioners, social workers, college students, and retired mental health providers that work in the Bell, Coryell, Lampasas and Mills counties. This is a wonderful way to provide local networking opportunities to a group of professionals that impact our community everyday.

...to stay current with all developments in the scope of your work.  Workshops and professional development training will be available to give you the opportunity to receive CEUs.

...to be a positive advocate while promoting the counseling profession.  Politically, you need to know what laws and/or bills are being considered that have an affect on your work, and what you can do to influence legislation to promote your profession.
